The author reports that some teachers' teaching approaches were examined by interviews, class observations, and group discussions in order to explore how value education was incorporated into the English language subject teaching. The findings reveal that the main difficulties were due to teachers' culture, the curriculum nature, the language proficiency, and the misconception of communicative approach.
