- *The paper reports the findings of a study which examines Chinese and English commonalties that may be used to improve English as a second language learning from previous first language learning in Hong Kong. In the study, the author examines Hong Kong students' interaction with graphic representation of knowledge structures and their academic graphic literacy, and then advocates the use of graphic representations and graphic literacy.
