- 香港教育委員會於一九九五年成立學校教育檢討小組,負責評估實施了二十年的強迫教育政策,表示教育局要對強迫教育政策作出評價,為發展下一世紀的教育作好準備。本文試就普及基礎教育,以訪問形式,蒐集了多位在大學任教的教育工作者,對九年強迫教育政策,特別在課程管理、社會因素等問題方面的意見。大多數受訪者認為政策重量不重質、目標不明確、課程改革不能切合社會需要和意識形態等。其中不乏中肯的批評和實用的建議,對認識、分析和探究今後香港課程發展,有重大的啟示。是次研究調查,屬「香港初中及小學教育目的及課程研究」的部份計劃,希望藉此研究,回顧香港中小學教育發展,探究未來發展方向。[Copyright © 2000 The Hong Kong Institute of Education.]
