"雲計算"甫自推出便被認定為︰面向所有普通用戶的計算系統。進入2010年，"雲計算"迅速普及，帶給社會的是訊息資源獲得的便利性及使用率的提高；而為支持者稱道的是其開放性和互動性。"雲計算"與"雲儲存"在工商界、在公共服務領域、在教育界的應用與探索備受多國關注，認為這是一項足以改變未來世界的重大科技發明。本文嘗從"雲計算"對特殊學習需要學童的學程經營的啟示，簡述一所特殊學校將生本學程經營平台轉移至"雲平台"上經營；讓教師、家長、及不同的專業工作者，透過即時、互動的網上協作活動，分享訊息並共參與建構生本的學與教流程。就這實踐經驗，筆者倡議為保障融合生在融入主流教育系統時的學習質素，可考慮為每一名特殊教育學習需要學生建立一個跨專業、跨家校、及跨教育系統的"融合雲"。 When 'Cloud Computing' was first introduced, it was regarded as a computing system for all users. Entering 2010,'Cloud Computing' was widely used and seen as an elevated tool of convenience and utilization to obtain information resources; while from the supporters' perspective, the benefit is the openness and interaction that it brings to the users. Many countries are attracted to both 'Cloud Computing' and 'Cloud Storage'. They thought that this technological innovation will bring huge changes in the future in the aspects of its application and discovery in both the industrial and commercial sectors, public services and education sector. This articles aims to summarize the transformation of traditional 'Student-based' learning platform into 'Cloud Platform' being inspired by 'Cloud Computing' that impacted on the learning process of students with special educational needs. And how the new platform enables teachers, parents and various professional workers to share information and participate in establishing the student-based flow of 'learning and teaching' as well as collaborative activities through instantaneous interactive web-based activities. The information sharing will bring about mutual participation and construction of teaching and learning activities. Based upon the practical experiences, the author suggests that in order to safeguard the quality of education services for integrated students in the mainstream education system, an 'Inclusive Cloud' comprising of interdisciplinary professionals, interactive home-school and educational systems should be constructed for every student with special educational needs.

網絡教育透過互聯網的交流和學習，將把現今「以教室為中心」的學習模式，推展至全時間、多元體系的學習模式。特殊教育的老師應發展「以學生為中心」的課程，使學生在認知、態度和技能上產生質變。本文介紹的數碼資訊網頁，把網絡時代與教育連接在一起，說明教師應如何創設適合有特殊教育需要學生的科技化學習環境，如何運用電腦科技教育更新教學策略和方法，提升學習效能。本文亦探討電腦網絡教室及網頁的創設和加強師資科技教育培訓，對師資訓練課程作出建議。「天保民學校數碼資訊城」所提供的網上服務共分四類，包括資訊項目、教育項目、綜合資源及通訊功能。將學生、家長與教職員連成一體，使教育無界域，彼此分享知識資源，迎合新時代的步伐。

With the use of questionnaire, observation and case study, the current practice in using multi-media tcchnology in schools for mentally handicapped (MH) children was studied. The aims, staff expertise, use, software and school-based work in computers were identified for investigation. The results indicated that the recent development was positive and encouraging. Provided with adcquate facilities, most schools with MH students introduced computer technology in classroom teaching. Although MH students may have different kinds of physical and intellectual disabilities, the use of technology and accessories helped them overcome their learning difficulties. A larger proportion of teachers reflected that they were not professionally trained to meet the growing demands of computer-based technology. They stated their limitations and shared their successful experience in school-based work. Regarding the lack of expertise, it was recommended that the authority should provide more positive support and resources to the schools while the schools should take strategic measures for staff development in this area.

This paper presents the design and implementation of a technological literacy course in professional development training for a diverse group of in-service primary teachers in Hong Kong. A set of micro-controlling hardware was chosen such that not only the controlling and coding barriers are acceptable to the teachers but that their pupils can also adopt the easy-to-use hardware and software to create STEM projects in primary schools. The hands-on training seeks to broaden their technological experiences in various interfacing and sensing activities. The coding challenge is reduced by introducing visual programming, thereby allowing the learners to focus on real- world problems in the STEM disciplines. Details of the course are provided and the assessment projects by Engineering Design Process are illustrated in this paper. This paper aims at identifying the use, benefits and challenges of integrating Minecraft in teaching students with autism. Classroom observations, students-created manifests and interviews were conducted in two Chinese-speaking special schools in Hong Kong. It is concluded that Minecraft does have positive impact on how children with ASD learn. Students were more engaged in class, showed improved collaboration and communications skills, developed deeper relationship with their classmates and the teachers, and were more motivated to learn. Understandings of social media and its pedagogical potentials remain controversial. Teachers tend to integrate social media in their teaching, which may bring about considerable impacts on their pedagogies in practices. In fact, this is an imperative issue which teacher educators in Hong Kong and those in other places are concerned. This paper reports a multi-case study about preservice teachers’ pedagogies when using social media in teaching. A classification of the social media landscape is called for due to confusion regarding the meanings of such terms as social media, Web 2.0 and user-created content. Two research questions were addressed: (1) What social media did the preservice teachers prefer to use in during their practicums; and (2) what pedagogies did the teachers adopted while involving social media in teaching in the placement schools? A total of 33 preservice teachers (N = 33) from a higher education institution in Hong Kong voluntarily participated in this study after open invitation. YouTube was the most popular standalone social medium and was also used in combination with other social media and non-social media websites to reflect the teachers’ practices in kindergartens, primary and secondary schools. Despite this, the preservice teachers mostly adopted didactic pedagogy with high frequencies of social media use during teaching practicums. This study contributes the salient understandings of pre-service teachers’ pedagogical orientations in using social media. Implications for teacher education are discussed. Copyright © 2018 ADTEL. Little research on preservice teachers’ pedagogies in Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) across subjects has been conducted. Broad and in-depth understandings of the teachers’ TPACK patterns are imperative to enhance subject teaching in schools. This article aims to explore preservice teachers’ pedagogic practices of integrating technology for teaching. By examining their pedagogies through the TPACK framework, the key question is: What pedagogic patterns do the preservice teachers interweave into their subject teaching? We explore preservice teachers’ pedagogies across subjects in Hong Kong as a cross-case study. The findings suggest that the teachers preferred to use technology as various pedagogic strategies and representations for teaching. The majority preferred to integrate technologies in teaching in support of students’ understanding and construction of subject knowledge. Implications of preservice teachers' TPACK practices for policymakers and teacher educators aiming to enhance teacher education are also discussed. This study examined the design of a computer-supported environment using online discussion for alignment of learning, collaboration and assessment. Participants were 155 student teachers attending a course in psychology of classroom learning in a teacher education program in Hong Kong. The design included students contributing to online forum; engaging in regular discussion; and reflecting on their discourse. For reflective assessment, student teachers identified three best examples (clusters of notes) from the class community’s discourse and explained why they were important for their inquiry. Data consisted of questionnaires on epistemic beliefs and collaboration; students’ postings on online forum; reflective assessment notes (3 best clusters of notes); and end-of-term theory-practice summary paper. Correlation analysis show that students’ beliefs about collaboration was related to their beliefs about knowledge (development); as well, regression analysis indicate that reflective assessment scores significantly predict summary paper (domain understanding). Implications of examining both individual and community learning through reflective assessment in computer-supported environments are discussed. Copyright © 2018 EARLI.
