- Two F.4-5 English language classrooms of students were involved in this study conducted by the author to explore whether the systematic teaching of revision of the first draft assisted in the development of discourse related awareness. Students' concern for accuracy was found to dominate the context of writing. The teaching of revision helped students view their writing from a boarder perspective.
