- 本文報告一項有關透過主動學習,強化香港教育學士課程學員科學素養水平的研究。研究旨在探討學員透過積極參與科學學習活動後,其科學知識、技能及態度方面的發展情況,因為這些都是科學素養的重要原素。修讀教育學士課程的學員必須於課程的基礎年修讀科學單元,有關單元的設計理念在於透過積極參與不同範疇的科學活動,以促進學員主動學習科學。 本研究透過訪問79位學員及分析他們的學習日誌,將所需數據收集,從而探討他們在科學知識、技能及態度等各方面的發展。上述學習日誌包括學員就每一項活動所作的預測、觀察記錄及所作的推論;完成活動後所寫下的個人見解及學習心得;完成活動後對每一項所運用過的科學探究技巧的描述以及對其重要性的看法。最後,其中十一位學員按隨機抽樣的方式抽出,接受訪問,以進一步探討學員認為有效推動主動學習科學的方法。 本研究的意義在於探究學員如何透過主動學習,從而提升他們的科學知識、技能及態度等各方面的能力。本文亦提供一些能有效提升學員科學素養的建議,從而協助準教師們面對來自日新月異的科技社會、以及未來教學工作上的種種新挑戰。[Copyright © 2001 HKIEd APFSLT.]
