- 2013年10月19日香港小班教學學會舉辦的《如何促進「自主學習」》講座中,講者趙志成博士提出三種自主學習模式:「西方式」、「內地式」及「香港式」,其觀點甚具原創性及啟發性。筆者認為,是否需要思考及發展「香港式」的自主學習,這不單是一個具理論探討價值的問題,它更是一個具實戰意義的議題。本文首先會對趙志成所提出的三種模式作簡單介紹,並加入個人經驗分享及反思。然後,本文會以本地課程發展史料,印證香港早於七十年代普及教育推行之初已提自主學習這個概念,並以宏觀角度,探討「香港式自主學習」的一些核心問題。最後,本文會思考其核心問題對小班教學的理想與現實的啟示。
