- 教材大致分為靜態教材和動態教材兩類。靜態教材指教科書、圖書或圖畫等教學材料;動態教材指影片或多媒體教材。對學中文的外籍人士來說,適合的靜態的文本教材固然是必須的,但動態多媒體教材對他們有很大的幫助,因為前者只能提供字形、詞語和篇章,後者除了以上功能外,還能調動學習者多元感官,包括視覺、聽覺或感覺器官同步感應,加強學習效果。 2006年,研究員在香港一所小學開發校本課程,為小學非華語學生設計中文科的文字教材,是上課用的靜態教材。2008年,研究員以上述的教材為基礎,進一步開發多媒體教材。本論文旨在探討該項多媒體中文教材設計的原因、理念及製作內容,並介紹香港非華語學生中國語文課程現行的情況。
