- The relationship between social class and English attainment in Hong Kong was explored by the author through the interviews of eight F.4 students. It was found that a movement from context-independent texts to context-dependent texts occurred within this decade and that, because of the better family support, middle class informants obtained more advantaged in the educational movement.
