- 「以兒童為中心」是現代幼兒課程設計及教學的基本原則。研究指出幼兒能在身處的環境中主動獲取新的經驗,因此教師在設計課程時,必須依據幼兒的經驗及興趣,使他們自發和主動地進行學習 (課程發展議會,2006)。自推行幼教改革以來,有研究卻顯示只有少數 (14.6%) 的業界提及兒童自主、自發、自覺、主動學習等為兒童的學習的特性。本文以理論及實例,闡釋如何在有利於幼兒自主學習的小班環境中,讓幼兒在教師的指導下發揮本地化的自主學習精神。
