- 作者簡述在蘇格蘭拉斯哥舉行的第四屆國際美術教育協會歐洲區研討會的盛況。是次研討會，主題為「藝術、建築及設計與文化政策的關係」。從研討會中，作者獲得了一些對香港美術教育的啟示：多元文化的美術教育；美術課程在國家課程中的缺點；社區與學校應合作推廣藝術教育；美術教育的作用是多方面而影響深遠；和發展藝術能力可以加強學習能力。
