- Two vocabulary instructional approaches (incidental learning of words in context and incidental-plus-L1 Chinese terms) was applied by the author to 115 Band 2-3 male secondary students. The key finding is that the provision of L1 Chinese terms did not affect students' L2 text comprehension.
