- 香港教育改革自1007年檢討「九年強迫教育」後,課程發展邁向新的紀元。在課程改革方面強調終身學習和全人發展;在推行課程改革方面則以校本為中心,下放權力給予學校建構自己需要的課程。由於以學校為本位,課程改革便有賴校內的老師協作和團隊能力。於從前的科層式的管理不能再湊效;學校的領導層要努力發揮各同事的知能,才能為學校的發展打下基礎,遂有課程發展主任的職位統籌校內課程發展。此一轉變令學校前綫教師角色有所改變,他們也要獨當一面,為建設優質課程而各自展示多元的才能,成為不同層面、範疇和領域的領袖教師。領袖教師之名不脛而走。學校的教師如何不斷學習,互相支持,遂成為學校發展的熱門課題。本論壇試從教師如何不斷學習互相支持的前提下討論各種可行的策略和方法,使前綫教師反思如何從工作和實踐中提升和發展教學效能,成就領袖教師。論壇亦提出學校領導風格和校本發展等課題。希望教育界同工一起集思廣益,為教師發展而提出寶貴的意見。本論壇最適合校長、課程主任和前綫教師參與。
