- 作者認為內地的語法教學以語法為中心，以語法知識為重點，使知識不易轉化為技能。他提倡建立以學生為中心，重視教學實際，強調語言運用的「學生語法」方案。教師可視學生能力等因素來考慮用不用或用甚麼術語等問題。語法項目亦未必要教全，可祇選教學生錯誤頻率高的，更應重視粵語國語對比學習。教學方法應視乎學生的學習情況及時間分配以決定採用明示式或潛藏式。語法教學的當務之急是做常錯句型研究以幫助決定教材的取捨及教學次序。（鄭佩芳整理）
