- 香港課程發展議會在 2001 年發布的「學會學習 J 顯示課程統整將會在未來的課程改革中扮演相當重要的角色。事實上，課程統整是一個複雜的概念，也未有充足的實證支持其可實踐性。在學科課程受訓、工作的香港教師，從學科課程走向課程統整，教師的預備不足，他們不僅需要客觀的認知和專業的技巧，還有信念上的轉移，我們必須從教師的實踐驗證，從校本的環境中找尋合適的路，才能令改革在適當的土壤生根、萌芽和成長。
