- 作者指出，資訊結構轉型出現新範式，教師及學校的職能需再思；知識傳播及學習模式正在急速轉型，電腦輔助網上教學將是新趨勢。作者匯報，97-98年香港大學理學院的中文課程中曾試行網上課程，學生需透過網站自習、交收習作、自我測試、把作品向同學展示等；在實施時，遇到一些困難，但對學生學習模式卻有很清晰及詳盡的監控。作者認為，網上教學有助把世界帶入課室，能支援課堂活動，把課室開放到世界，有助學生隨時隨地學習。（黃潔貞整理）
