- 文章旨在分析香港美術教學的實況，並指出美術史的教授在美術課程中實施的重要。作者向美術教師與美術學生進行的問卷調查發現學生對美術史的認識貧乏，教師亦感訓練不足，教授困難，致使美術史的講授備受忽略，故此有需要重新評估師資培訓，而課程的規劃和具體的分配亦需相應配合，以求達到培養年輕學子的文化修養和發展。
