- 澳門的教育制度與很多地區迥異,當中較為得獨特者以非高等教育中私立學校佔了相當的比重尤為顯著。1999年回歸後,澳門出生人口銳減,「少子化」對私立學校的收生和發展產生了一定影響。2001年,教育暨青年局首先引入了「小班教學」的教改理念,通過第9/2001 號行政法規,以行政手段和班級津貼減低每班學生人數。其後幾年,面對部分學校收生不足的困境,教育暨青年局於2004年起,進一步「優化師生比」的班級津貼制度,此乃「小班化」教學的一個重要的里程碑。本文嘗試從澳門社會發展脈絡出發,探討小班教學的發展與現況、實踐和困境以及未來的展望。
