本文是探討如何運用校本電子教材，提升特殊學校不同科目的教學效能，如「個別差異照顧」、「自主學習」、「混合式教學」、「互動模式及師生角色」等。結果顯示，透過校本電子教材教學，教師在「個別差異照顧」及「自主學習」等方面，意識非常清晰，提升了學生的學習動機和課業表現。結論指出教師應多利用電子教科書的優勢，提供不同互動方式，使教學更能以「學生為本」。This paper is to examine the effectiveness of school-based e-learning materials in the aspects of learning diversity, self-regulated learning (SRL), blended learning mode; and interaction mode & role of teacher and students in special schools. From the findings, with the use of the school-based e-learning materials in teaching, the teachers were with good awareness on the learning diversity and SRL that led to the enhancement of learning motivation and performance among students. It was recommended that teachers should make full use of the e-learning materials so as to provide different interactive learning. This will help the learning be more student-centered. The present action research examined the effectiveness of one pre-school teacher professional development with the focus of deep understanding of autism behaviour and the practical application of three evidence-based strategies: social story (auditory means), TEACCH (visual support) and positive behavior support. The purposive and self-selected samples of 27 pre-school teachers and their students be diagnosed with or suspected of having autism were recruited (N=32) from seven local kindergartens. The teacher participants of the experimental group completed one two-day workshop and received school-based consultations with the input from autism experts. The teacher participants of the control group received delayed teacher training. The teacher participants completed two instruments in Chinese, the Aberrant Behavior Checklist and the Checklist for Learning, Social and Emotional Adjustment (Kindergarten version) to measure the student performance. The teacher participants completed another two self-reported instruments in Chinese, the revised 10-item Attitudes and Concerns about Inclusive Education Scale (SACIE-R) and the 18-itemTeacher Efficacy for Inclusive Practice Scale (TEIP). The data indicated that the student participants of the experimental group reduced the challenging behavior and at the same time they showed improvement in learning and peer interaction. For the teacher participants of the experimental group, they showed more awareness about the inclusion needs of their students on the spectrum. They also recognized the function of having expert input to further enhance teaching efficacy for inclusive practice. The preliminary outcomes here confirmed the positive impact of the holistic and practical approach to pre-school teacher professional development for supporting learning diversity.本硏究以行動研究探討一項著重知識及實踐的學前老師專業培訓，培訓內容包括深度理解自閉症特徵及實戰執行三項有循證數據的支援策略：社交故事（直接、具體的口頭指令）、TEACCH（視覺提示）及正向行為支持。參加者為來自七間幼稚園的 27 位老師及其 32 位有自閉症診斷或懷疑個案的學生。實驗組的老師完成兩日的工作坊和接受有自閉症專家參加的校本諮詢。比較組的老師於研究完成後接受培訓

本文為一校本教職員專業發展問卷調查報告，受訪者為一間嚴重弱智兒童學校的教職員，共36人。結果顯示受訪者一致肯定多感官室的功能，認為學生進行感官刺激活動後，在很多方面，皆有進步的表現。多感官室能提供學生訓練及學習機會，學校實應推廣這方面的工作。受訪者認為教師應依「史露西倫」的原意，為學生多提供探索及體驗多感官刺激的機會。然而，教師亦可因應學生的學習能力，設計有創意及以學生為中心的學習活動，增加學生在多感官室的認知活動、技能與概念學習。在協助學校教職員建立共識、確立多感官室發展方向及制訂課程發展計劃內容各方面，受訪者亦提出了不少建議。

香港的教育及課程改革要求學校進行各層面的變化去配合社會需要，主流及特殊學校都積極在主流的基礎課程上進行學校本位課程發展的工作，校本課程發展無可避免為學校執行「個別化教育計劃」帶來了有系統的改變；學校亦要進行有步驟的教師培訓去提升教師的專業能力及賦權教師推動校本課程及對特殊教育需要的支援。本文描述兩間收取中度智障學生的特殊學校，如何按部就班地重整課程及發展學習階段性課程為本的基線評估去匡監察學生進度。其中並討論所涉及以行動取向研究歷程的各種改變元素，從而確立了一整個實施課程及「個別化教育計劃」的行政體系，使未來的檢視及發展工作有一個清晰的流程及行政管理系統去跟進，是值得持續推動及推廣的一個特殊學校發展系統，並提出對校本及中央課程發展政策的一些反思及啟示。 With the urge for school changes to meet the new societal demands by both the education and curriculum reform in Hong Kong, both mainstream and special schools are active in adopting the mainstream curriculum as the basis for their school-based development. School-based curriculum development will inevitably call for systemic changes on the implementation of the Individualised Education Program (IEP) of the students with special educational needs within these schools. Coupled with these changes will be the need for stepwise professional development to empower teachers with the professional competence to implement both the school-based curriculum and support measures for special needs. The paper provides an account of the process through which two special schools for moderately mentally handicapped children restructured their school curriculun and developed key stage wise and curriculum-based baseline assessment procedures for monitoring the progress of learning of their students. The various elements being involved with the school-based curriculum development process using action-oriented research as the guiding approach for its development were discussed. The project generated a clear flow process for implementing IEP and a comprehensive administrative system for further follow up and evaluation of the curriculum development process. Implications for further development work on school-based curriculum and the policy for central curriculum framework to support special needs were discussed.

本研究嘗試探討嚴重智障兼多重弱能兒童是否具備高階思維的共通能力︰創造力、批判性思考能力、解決問題能力。透過文獻探究擬定評估準則，並利用互動故事作為教學策略，進行施教、觀察和評估，以得出結果。研究結果顯示，嚴重智障兼多重弱能兒童一樣具備不同程度的高階思維能力。只要因應學生的學習特性和需要，給予適當的引導和啟發，一樣可以提升這些方面的能力。當然，他們必須經過不斷的練習，及教師採取多元化的課程設計、教學策略和活動來引導學生，才能提升和鞏固其高階思維的能力。 The study examined whether students with severe mental handicap and multiple disabilities had higher order thinking skills: creativity, critical thinking skills and problem solving skills. The students were taught using the strategy of interactive story and the assessment criteria of the three higher order thinking skills were develop through reviewing related studies in the literature, Students' performance in the three higher order thinking skills were observed and rated based on the developed assessement criteria. The results indicated that students with severe mental handicap and multiple disabilities exhibit different degree of higher order thinking skills during the lessons. In teachers could provide appropriate guidance and stimulation based on the characteristics and needs of these students, higher order thinking skills could be developed though repeated practice would be necessary to reinforce the skills.

本文首先就我國特殊教育課程發展的背景，闡明了引進香港保良局余李慕芬紀念學校製作的語文教育套件的重要意義。文章介紹一份香港-內地合作，獲內地25所學校參與及以語言發展為特色的普通話語文教育套件的理論研究、教材開發和教學實驗研究。該研究根據兒童語言發展規律和弱智兒童語言特點，採用課程本位評估技術，通過教學活動設計及主題教學，建立一套課程與教學資源系統。其目的在於開發普通話版本的語文教育校本課程，使參與課程開發和教學實驗學校的700餘名弱智兒童得到有效的教育，同時，亦藉此培養一批具有校本課程開發能力、掌握語言發展評估和言語訓練技能的特殊教育師資隊伍。

嚴重智障學生與一般學生一樣，都需要學習新事物及不斷成長，老師必須了解學生不同的特點及需要，設計合適的教學策略，並要不斷檢視成效，才會有學習成果。本文闡述老師嘗試透過問、想、做、評的行動研究步驟，剖析學生需要及現有問題，並訂定施行方案，分享行動研究的經驗，並展示教師專業成長的歷程。 Similar to their mainstream counterparts, students with severe intellectual disabilities will need to be exposed novel experiences for them to be able to learn and develop. Teachers of these students will have to be sensitive to their learning needs and characteristics to be able to design appropriate teaching strategies. And to make sure that the desirable learning outcomes are reached, on going evaluation of the effectiveness of these strategies will be needed. This paper describes how a team of teachers applies the Problem Identification, Planning and Program Action research model to analyses the needs and difficulties of their students for making decisions on their implementation plan for teaching. The process of implementation also demonstrates how the team of teachers developed professionally through such action research process.

作為凝聚有特殊教育需要子女家長的處所，特殊學校是有責任組織適切的活動，支援家長克服子女的學習及成長困難。本文概述一所收取中度智障學童的學校，如何透過發展性小組去支援校內的家長，並探討如何就這些孩子家長的需要、家校合作的現況、家長參與的層次與區分、家長賦權歷程、學校背景、朋輩輔導及小組發展歷程等概念，去全面理解不同持分者在籌辦家長互助小組過程中，要準備的工作及注意事項。透過有層次地去組織支援家長的「伴你同行」小組，除能夠支援更有需要的家長，加強他們處理子女學習、行為、情緒問題，增強親子關係並完備家庭與學校合作的同時，亦促使家長間建立一個非常規的支持和朋輩網絡。 Special schools being a place for gathering parents of students with special educational needs bear the responsibility of organizing supporting services for these parents to overcome difficulties encounter by their children. The paper describes the efforts of a special school for moderate intellectually disabled students in applying developmental group work to support the parents of the school. While considering the needs of these parents, current trends of home-school cooperation, differentiated levels of parental involvement in a school, parent empowerment process, school background, peer tutoring and group development processes for enhancing the understanding of different stake-holders of the school to plan and organize parent groups of such purposes are examined and applied. In the end, not only that the parent support group supported the more needy parents in strengthening their methods of coping with learning, behavioural, emotional difficulties and parent-child relationship. The support group too facilitated home school cooperation process, an informal peer support network amongst these parents is formed as another source of support for parents of the school.

本文探討在倡議智障人士應有生涯規劃下，香港的特教工作者可以如何為智障人士設定引向其期望的生涯規劃。在缺乏成人出路的配套，許多智障人士畢業後變成宅男、宅女。少數得到安置的智障人士，由於成人單位人手不足，他們的生涯亦在少活動、長等待中過去，要求提昇人手比例或生活照顧質素看似奢求。智障人士家長面對子女的醫療、居住、交通等種種生活難題，得到的只是政府重覆的敷衍回應，家長的訴求退卻至致力減少輪候的年期。通過作者個人觀察及實踐體驗，本文提出一些對智障人士生涯規劃的初步建議。 This paper looks at how in advocating for the right to proper career planning, special educators in Hong Kong should guide people with intellectual disabilities to achieve their expected career path. Without the provision of adequate exit arrangements for career placements, many students with intellectual disabilities become unemployed after completion of their school education. For the few who have been given immediate placements, there are very few activities organized for them as adult service units are always short of staff. They tend to spend most of the time idling. Any request to raise the staffing ratio and the quality of care appears to be luxurious. Confronted with other problems in medical services, housing and transportation, what parents of people with intellectual disabilities get are repeated casual responses from the government resulting in parents only asking for the shortening of waiting period. Through personal observation and practical experiences of the author, this paper offers some initial suggestions on career planning for people with disabilities.
