- 香港融合教育發展已有多年,在此十年間,本地也有不少文獻、研究、報告及實踐分享,闡釋及剖析融合教育發展的成敗經驗。香港初等教育研究學會及香港特殊教育學會於2007年發表的《融合教育在香港小學推行的情況》研究報告指出學校實踐融合教育,仍存在一連串的困難,並提出建議。事實上,學校不斷收納有特殊教育需要的學生,而課堂內學生的學習、情緒及行為,也見複雜。在「334」學制的新發展下,主流學校需要考慮融合學生的高中學習安排,特殊學校也相繼發展校內的新高中課程,家長及團體也開始關注特教學生的平等升學機會。講者主要是從教師培訓角度,指出「照顧不同學習需要」教師專業發展的重要領域,說明如何裝備教師,在新學制下克服課堂教學的困難,並就政府近年提供的資源及支持,指出一些可見的未來機遇。
