作者指出，現場演示作文教學法是一種以小學四、五、六年級及中學一年級學生為教學對象，以在作文課上設計可記錄的生動、活潑、有趣的遊戲演示活動為作文內容，通過遊戲演示活動，激發學生情緒，誘導學生在輕鬆愉快的氛圍中完成從思維到文字的轉化，並大規模提高思維創造及寫作水平的作文教學法。（何文勝整理）
