- 作者指出，中文科跟其他學科一樣，也肩負了道德教育的責任，中文課本的取材，具備了知、情、意三方面的訓練。善為利用可對學生德育的培養有很大的裨益。即使中國文字的六書以至中國文學作品中都蘊含德育的作用，通過這些作品的研讀，對學生知情意的滋養與鞏固俱幫助。此外，在作文教學、閱讀教學與中文課本活動方面都可以對學生發揮道德教育的作用。（何文勝整理）
