- 教育改革以來，培養學生『學會學習』是各教育工作者 (包括國內及海外) 的其中一個主要目標。培養學生有自主學習的能力和習慣，是近年有較多討論的議題。本校在2012/13 學年，嘗試使用合作學習教學法，於中一甲班試行自主學習課堂，初見成效。今個學年於中一級全面推行，當中面對不少困難和挑戰，但在各方的努力下，總算尋求到一些解決方法，並得到各持份者的意見，為未來持續推行自主學習作準備。同時，這些積累的經驗、解決方法和意見，相信在小班環境下推行自主學習的學校也能參考。
