- 作者指出,在一個介紹新的小學美術課程的論壇上,課程發展者祇著重介紹課程內容,視學署強調了新課程的合理和權威,而參與論壇的教師卻祇為了工作量多和教學資源不足而提出新課程的弊處。可是三者在討論之時,卻未有對新課程設計理念的了解作出共適,因而在討論時,根本未能摸及問題的徵結。因此,作者認為,要真正改善藝術教育,首要的條件就是課程策劃者和教師必須獲得彼此的了解和合作,並找出問題的所在,打破隔膜,才能提升藝術教育的水準。
