- 隨著香港回歸,普通話科在香港中、小學越來越受重視。1997年,香港教育署頒佈了新的〈普通話科課程綱要 (小一至小六) (1997)〉及〈普通話科課程綱要 (中一至中五) (1997)〉。另外,由去年開始,普通話科已成為核心課程,到2000年,更將被列為中學會考項目。這些都反映普通話科發展迅速。 普通話科的急速發展,必然為該科教師帶來一定的困難。這些困難,若不及時解決,很可能會成為該科發展的障礙。在普通話科成為核心課程剛滿一年之際,本研究嘗試以問卷調查的形式,探討香港中學普通話科教師所面對的困難,希望能使教育界認清當前中學普通話科教學的面貌,並針對有關困難,尋求改善方法,推動普通話科的發展。
