作者根據《學校公民教育指引》的提示，指出公民教育很重視群體意識，認識、實踐容納異己精神是公民教育的重要內容。作者以容納異己的概念去考察中學語文教材的內容，結果發表具有這種意識的教材分布並不平均。教師可因應實際需要，通過略讀教材的選取，作出補充與平衡。（何文勝整理）
