- 作者指出，讀書人有自願讀書的，有被迫讀書的，有半自願半被迫的。最後一種若能轉化為愛上讀書的那就最好了。閱讀要能開闊思想、發掘深度。閱讀習慣養成之前需建立興趣。選材方面，文字有典範性、感情方面可提升思想情操、能開闊思想，方是好作品。教師若能以身作則、與學生共同閱讀，以精讀輔略讀，學生自有得益。（黃潔貞整理）
