- 無論在個人經驗或專業發展過程中,教師會歸納不同的價值觀、判斷、看法、意見、感受,這統稱之為信念。教師信念是一有組織的體系,蘊含教師對各種事象、處境和知識的看法,表現了個人的情意感受與評價,直接影響教師的教學取向,像教學計劃的擬定和編排、課室互動的方法、對學生行為及成就的看法和詮釋、對教學事件的經驗吸取及反思等等。在文獻中,有關英文、數學、社會等科目教師信念的討論雖然不少,但中文科教師信念的研究還是少見。就香港本土而言,中文科在基礎課程中佔著重要的位置,再者,中文科老師在傳統東方文化的薰陶下,其所持的教師信念更有其獨特的地方,深入探討這方面的問題是能檢討與再反思現行的教師教育,以期改善教與學的素質。本文研究員透過課前晤談、課室觀察和課後晤談,期以探索小學中文科教師的信念,並觀察其在實踐過程中,如何貫徹其信念,為中文科教師教學的專業發展提供路向。
