- 來自240所香港獨立及非牟利幼稚園的教師透過問卷及訪問,提供對工作壓力的感受及處理辦法的資料。按數據分析,參與的教師平均有接近中等程度的工作壓力。在"工作上的人際關係"感受到的壓力顯著地比"教學專業","幼稚園行政管理","時間使用"及"工作條件"為低。在處理辦法的使用上,"解決問題"及"接受責任與再評估"的有效程度顯著地比"抗衡","逃避"及"尋求社會性的支持"為高。在"工作條件"上,任教非牟利幼稚園的教師顯著地比獨立幼稚園的教師感受較低的工作壓力。論文將就研究結果的啟示對幼兒教師在實際工作及專業發展作出討論。
