二零零零年，香港課程發展議會發表教育改革諮詢文件，重申跨學科課程對於學童在整全性知識發展方面的作用。事實上，小學常識科作為一個跨學科課程已推行了五年。教師對於這種課程的理念、認識及實踐，對課程改革的進一步發展，實在有其參考值。本文以問卷調查為工具，用定量分析研究教師對跨學科課程的認知程度及實施情況，以探討學科統整改革的正確路向。
In 2000, the Hong Kong Curriculum Development Council published the consultation document on educational reform, re-affirming the role played by integrated curriculum in the holistic development of the pupils. In fact, General Studies, as an integrated curriculum, has been implemented for five years. Teachers’ perception, knowledge, and practice of such integrated curriculum would definitely have referential and revelatory values for the further development in curriculum. This paper adopts a quantitative approach with the use of questionnaire survey as an instrument to analyse teachers' perception, knowledge, and practice of integrated curriculum for the sake of charting the proper course for its future development.

學習語文必須由基礎開始，循序漸進，因此，幼稚園的語文學習絕不容輕視。本研究從幼稚園教育工作者的角度出發，探究（一）香港幼兒文學作品的特點；及（二）幼兒文學在幼稚園教學中發揮的作用、困難及解決方法。本研究共發出180 份問卷予幼稚園教育工作者，並深入訪問了14 位幼稚園教育工作者。研究發現幼稚園教育工作者認為幼兒文學作品最重文字淺白、圖畫顏色悅目及人物造型生動，現時香港的幼兒文學作品雖能符合被訪者的期望，但其對幼稚園教學的作用則受到家長的重視程度、學生的閱讀興趣、良好作品的數量、教師的觀念和學校經費所限制。
Without concrete language foundation, children will find it difficult to use language as tools for learning when they grow up. Mastering of language abilities should therefore start progressively from elementary education. Language learning in kindergarten should not be neglected. The present study, from kindergarten educators' perspective, focuses on (1) characteristics of children literature in Hong Kong; (2) their functions and application in kindergartens. 180 questionnaires were distributed among kindergarten educators and 14 kindergarten educators were interviewed in details. It is found that simple words, colourful pictures and attractive figures were 3 important characteristics of children literature. Children literature in Hong Kong can meet kindergarten educators' expectation but its educational functions and application are limited by parents' attitude, children's reading interest, teachers' concept, insufficient children literature of good qualities and insufficient budget of schools.

踏進廿一世紀，當世界各地(包括香港)正進行教育改革之際，基督教學校當作何反思？本文的目的在於引發基督教教育工作者探討以下問題：為何要建立基督教學校文化？建立怎樣的基督教學校文化？如何建立基督教學校文化？此外，本文亦提供一些具體可行的參考資料，藉以推廣基督教學校文化，使基督教學校能提升學校效能，更好地培育下一代(學生)。
In the beginning of the 21st Century, many countries (including Hong Kong) are undertaking education reform. What reflection should Christian schools have? The purpose of this paper is to initiate Christian school workers to investigate the following questions: Why do we need to develop Christian school culture? What kind of Christian school culture should we develop? How should we develop Christian school culture? Furthermore, this paper also provides some practical references for Christian schools, so that Christian school culture can be promoted, school effectiveness can be improved, and our next generations (students) can be better educated.

為配合香港政府積極推行的資訊科技教育政策，教育工作者正努力發展不同的方案，應用資訊科技改善教學。本文介紹專為小學常識科而設的數碼錄像短片資源庫，探討短片如何協助教師在教學應用資訊科技。文章首先討論推行是項計劃的目標及成果，然後就使用者的問卷調查所得，歸納意見，討論如何改善資源庫的使用介面和怎樣增潤短片的內容。文章進一步討論研究的啟示：錄像短片在教學上的應用及教師在發展數碼錄像短片資源庫的角色。
In respond to the Government's policy of using Information Technology (IT) in education, various approaches are attempted by educators to enhance the effectiveness of using IT in learning and teaching. This article describes a resources bank of digital video clips, which is especially designed for General Studies in Hong Kong primary curriculum, and explains how digital video clips can assist teaching in classrooms. It starts with objectives and outcomes of the project, which followed by a discussion of the findings from a survey conducted with users. Based on the users' opinion, ways of improving the interface and content will be discussed. The article further discussed the implications inferred by the result. They are the use of digital video clips in teaching and learning, and the roles of teachers in the further development of the resources bank of digital video clips.

作者指出，在強迫教育的條件下，怎樣認識數學教育的功能？如何使數學教育適合強迫教育的需要？如何進行數學教育的改革？這都是近年來研究比較多的問題。此文在分析和研究了不同國家和地區的數學教育文獻的基礎上，從三個方面對這些問題進行初步探索︰認清數學教育與強迫教育培養目標關係，把數學教育作為提高公民基本素質的一個組成部分，立足於絕大多數學生的發展進行數學教育改革；認識數學教育與學生全面發展的關係，使每一學生都能通過數學教育獲得應有的發展。

文章報導1993年教育署委託「家庭與學校合作研究」的其中一個定質的專題研究－「家庭與學校聯繫的方式」。通過問卷、訪問、文件分析等方法，作者搜尋到學校與家庭聯繫的8類目和27種方法。作者並嘗試提供意見予學校去發展各種聯繫。

作者特從歐美國家的經驗開始，再通過一所中學校內輔導問題學生的體驗，嘗試為香港強逼教育制度面臨的困境找出路。最後綜合建議，促教育署或學校與各工商機構合作研究一套完整計劃以安排極度無心向學的學生。

作者嘗試比較中、港、台三地的九年義務教育的實施，描繪出三地政府對教育效能的看法，並說明三地政府在其中所探取的措施。整體而言，雖然三地的客觀條件不同，社會經濟發展的模式亦有差異，但三地均為中國人的社會，故其基礎教育的發展，可互相參考。

作者首先嘗試探討義務教育的源與背景，並說明香港與廣州發展義務教育的社會、經濟、文化的背景。其次，作者亦描述了香港及廣州義務教育的實施概況。第三，作者總結了兩地實施義務教的成果與經驗，亦探討了其困難和問題。最後，作者再思義務教育探索新的教育模式實施的理念和經驗，提出了不少新的想法。
