- 作者指出演講與演講辭都是高級補充程度考試範圍，故把演講辭的寫作與演講技巧的訓練結合起來，有助於提高學習興趣，加強學習效果。理工學院考慮到同學未來工作所需，也將演講及演講辭納入課程之內。作者更就搞好演講與演講辭的教學提出了切實有效的方法，亦就一些在演講時可能有的突發事件提出處理的建議。（鄭佩芳整理）
