- 作者以80名理工學院一年級生為研究對象,從整體判斷,篇章類別(回溯性、外延性)和成熟或不成熟的表達三方面去評鑒這些學生的作品。作者發現屬於成熟/外延的和不成熟/外延的一類文字應特別處理,因為這些篇章是學生用心寫作,希望傳達情意的文字。在這些文字內出現的語文問題,才是他們的真正困難所在。教師在批改或分析學生作文之前,應先分辨哪些是學生用心寫的,才不致徒勞。(鄭佩芳整理)
