- 作者以1990-91年度開設中學電腦課程電腦教師為對象作出分析。結果顯示：教師人數較1984年增加約五倍（從55人增至262人）；90%以上在40歲以下，使電腦科成為很「年輕」的科目；85%以上曾參加教署辨的課程或已接受教育學院訓練，但沒有正式資歷的，也可任教。此外，有關任教學校狀況，由教署提供Apple 11e，BBC及IBM，前兩者於90年代被淘汰，但仍有3/4的學校使用；有30%學校另購教學用之電腦設備，如IBM；近90%的學校行政用之電腦設備是六部以下；約3/4的學校仍以分班上課制。
