*Noting that the use of big books has become a creative approach to teaching reading in Hong Kong school, the author describes in the paper the impact of this approach to creativity enhancement in, especially, low achieving students.

The authors report that the principals of five schools participating in a project of improving the reading instruction quality are surveyed and interviewed to elicit how they view their roles and leadership styles.
