The author points out that, as many CDT teachers were highly resistant to change and did not feel any pressing need to have computers to help their teaching, retraining courses were therefore needed in order to alter their prejudice against computers. The author also notes that the insufficient supply of programmers, the suitability of the content of curriculum, and the availability of computers were the other difficulties.
