Abstract:
This thesis examines the validity of internal assessment for junior secondary school science. Science score of some 7,000 Form III pupils in 40 schools participated in the reference science achievement test are compared with their corresponding V.S.E.A. scores. Finding suggests reference source as a form of internal assessment is positively correlated with V.S.E.A. raw scores.
