- 研究旨在通過個案研究方式跟進本地六家中小學試驗用普通話教中文(PMI)的教學情況,探討其可行性;拼設計有關課程培訓教師。研究發現,採用普通話教中文,學校行政不受影響;絶大部分家長贊成PMI教學;學生方面,只要採取循序漸進方式,可於三個月內慢慢適應。PMI教學對普通話聽說明顯地有幫助;但中文成績則未見有突飛猛進的表現。PMI教學的成敗關鍵在教師。至有關師資培訓課程的設計,主要仍以語言訓練為主;但是學員對教學法似乎有比較大的需要。由於學校對優質PMI教師的殷切需求,在職教師踴躍報讀有關課程。小學組獲錄取的機會是八分之一。[Copyright © 2004 北京大學出版社]
