- 文章主要討論本港字詞應用和字詞教學兩方面的問題。作者就報章雜誌廣告舉出本港字詞的不規範情況，然後提出對字詞教學的建議：一、重視詞，不忽視字；二、注重邏輯、語法、修辭方面的指導；三、結合生活，讓學生有練的機會；四、鼓勵學生學習普通話，幫助他們掌握方言與標準語的對應規律；五、擴大學生的閱讀範圍，促使他們大量閱讀。（關之英整理）
