- 作者就一次徵文比賽評審的經驗，指出香港高中生遣詞造句最大的毛病是詞彙貧乏和語感遲鈍。詞彙貧乏方面的表現為用詞單調、少用成語和不會運用適當的關聯詞；語感遲鈍方面的表現為語體色彩、感情色彩等掌握不當。作者認為只有在閱讀在學校蔚成風氣時，學生遣詞造句的能力才有希望改善。（馮吳淑瑩整理）
