- The author indicates that the objectives of the study pursued by the author are to investigate the current usage of software in secondary schools, to identify the major selection criteria, and to assess the priority of software and service needs; the aim is to help the local software industry gain a better understanding on the Information Technology needs of secondary schools in Hong Kong, regarding their current computerization status as well as their future software and service needs.
