- 作者分析了應用文素質下降的原因,然後就以下三方面提出了改革的方案。第一是體式的確立:宜採用平易通行的格式和用語以切合實際需要;教師可參考「常用中文公事格式及辭彙」再作全面性的規劃。第二是教材的編纂:應按學生程度由淺入深,按應用範圍安排,照顧學生由個人生活à學校生活à社會生活的進展;並要求他們學習基本的語言結構和規律。第三是教學方法:以學生為本,可採用小組式的學習活動。作者建議了一個由中一至中七的教學安排,又設計了一個以五教節為一單元的教學模式,讓教師參考。(鄭佩芳整理)
