- 作者從傳意的角度探討寫作，除了著重提高學生的表達能力外，主要是配合社會的需要，教導學生傳意的理論和策略。作者介紹一套自學課程，使學生通過傳意寫作軟件，學習傳意寫作的技巧；並提供一套實用文寫作的教學理論和策略給教師，以輔助教師教學；此外，也提供一套比較科學和客觀的評改實用文的要求。（何文勝整理）
